*I ended up packing a white zip up instead of the red/grey sweater. Also, I don't have any pictures with my tank tops or short sleeve shirts.
Luggage!
Packing!
We finally decided on the Tom Bihn Aeronaut bag. It has amazing reviews and best of all it meets carry-on
size requirements for the US and Europe. There are custom packing cubes
that go inside so everything fits perfectly. It's amazing how much can
go in this bag if you pack smart (roll clothes and pack only what you
need). It can be used as backpack, can be carried by a shoulder strap, or by
handles.
Packing!
As I read blog after blog to research for this trip, I learned a lot about how to pack. Of course...like they say...LESS IS MORE! I've gotten advice from many people to pack light, which is a major challenge for me! I decided to stick with mostly solids and stripes with easy colors to match. I plan to wear each piece of my clothing items AT LEAST 2-3 times and for the most part I plan to be able to pull any items out of my Tom Bihn and have them match.
In the countries we're visiting, the weather ranges from 46-79 degrees on average....yikes. That's quite a range! How to deal with this? LAYER! I tried to pack in outfits so I can peel layers off throughout the day as needed.
The Ultimate Europe Packing List - enough for 1 month in September in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain!
